This little kitty was found in a parking lot outside of a cat show in Arcadia a couple of weeks ago. Judi, a nice woman attending the show from South Carolina, took this blue girl back to her hotel to keep her safe for the night. She was emaciated, the theory being her own young mother probably went into heat and stopped caring for her. Judi fed her and kept her warm over night.The next day, Judi brought her back to the cat show and she was adopted on the spot by another nice woman named Edie. The little girl had a few digestive imbalances, okay, the runs, but Edie has experience nursing little ones back to health.The baby's portrait shows her rough beginning. Anyone who knows me knows what a big cat lover I am. I'm frequently told I'm one kitten short of becoming a crazy cat lady although when I had five of them I think I was the crazy cat lady.So when I say Happy National Cat Day, I mean it but to be honest cat day is every day around here. My little 14-year-old Junior is my soul cat... the love of my life. She is sweet and affectionate and devoted in a way that astounds me.
